GENERAL REQUIREMENTS TO THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

1. The educational program has been developed based on the following regulatory legal acts, and further development of its appendices must comply with the following Provisions:
– Law of the Republic of Tajikistan on Education, dated July 22, 2013, No. 1004 (with the latest amendment dated May 17, 2018, No. 1527);
– Law of the Republic of Tajikistan on Adult Education, dated February 24, 2017, No. 1394;
– Law of the Republic of Tajikistan on Higher and Postgraduate Professional Education, dated May 19, 2009, No. 531;
– National Strategy for the Development of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030, dated “__” ____ 20__, No. ___;
– National Concept of Education in the Republic of Tajikistan, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 3, 2006, No. 94;
– State Standard of Higher Professional Education of the Republic of Tajikistan dated 25.02.2017, No. 94;
– State Classifier of Directions and Specialties in the Republic of Tajikistan dated 30.06.007, No. 349;
– Regulation on the Credit System of Education in Higher Professional Educational Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan dated 30.12.2016, No. 19/24:
– Guidelines for the Development and Revision of Educational Programs of Higher Professional Education in the Republic of Tajikistan;
– Development Strategy of the Tajik National University for the Period 2021-2025.
2. The requirements for the mandatory minimum content of the educational program, the conditions for its implementation and the timing of its development are determined by the State Standard of Higher Professional Education in the Republic of Tajikistan.
3. The set of documents of the educational program of higher professional education includes a curriculum for a specialty, a working curriculum, programs for types of practice, curricula for disciplines and syllabuses. The minimum requirements for the contents of the set of documents of the EP are reflected in paragraph 6. of this document.
4. An integral part of the educational program is the abstract of the curricula for compulsory disciplines. The minimum requirements for the appendices of the EP are reflected in paragraph 6. of this document.
5. The educational program must provide for mandatory study by the student of the blocks and modules specified in paragraph 3.8 of this document.
6. The blocks and modules of the educational program consist of compulsory disciplines of the state component and the UHPE component, elective disciplines, optional classes, practice, and final certification.
7. The names of the disciplines of the block and modules of the state component of the educational program must meet the requirements established by the “Concept for compiling curricula, textbooks and teaching aids for the disciplines of the state component in higher educational institutions”.
8. A brief description of the compulsory and elective academic disciplines is an integral part of the educational program. It includes: a brief description of the discipline; types of classes; language of instruction; competencies that students must develop in the process of mastering the discipline; expected learning outcomes; a list of sections and topics of the discipline; educational and technical means of ensuring the discipline; as well as forms of current and final control. The minimum requirements for a brief description of the curricula of compulsory and elective disciplines are given in the appendices. The full content of the work programs of compulsory and elective disciplines can be found in the electronic library of the National University of Tajikistan (see https://tnu.tj).
9. The educational program must take into account the compulsory study of the sections and modules specified in paragraph 3 of this document.
10. Sections and modules of the educational program consist of compulsory disciplines of the state and university component, elective disciplines, optional classes, practical training and final certification.
11. The list of sections, modules and disciplines of the state component of the educational program complies with the requirements of the document “Classification of academic disciplines by sections and modules”.
12. Provision and support of students
The University has a material and technical base that meets the requirements of current fire safety regulations and standards for conducting all types of educational, practical and research training provided for by this document.
Every student has unlimited access to the library (including the electronic library) and the information and educational electronic environment during the course of their studies. The electronic library and the information and educational environment provide students with access from any point with an Internet connection. The information and educational environment of the university provides the following opportunities: access to curricula, work programs of disciplines and practices, electronic educational resources, publications of electronic library systems specified in the curricula; registration of the educational process, results of midterm exams and mastering the educational program; conducting all forms of classes, as well as assessing learning outcomes using e-learning and distance education technologies. The university has 6 dormitories for both students and teachers. The dormitories are equipped with comfortable rooms, each floor has separate bathrooms, toilets and kitchens. In addition, the dormitories have canteens and fast food outlets. Residents are provided with the necessary furniture (beds, wardrobes, tables and chairs), as well as bedding. Work is constantly underway in the dormitories to improve living conditions.
